I'm not sure what it was, but this story had a texture to it and gripped me in a way I didn't expect. The entire VN felt so floaty and stream-of-conciousness-y and I really enjoyed that.
One thing I wanna point out is that having lyrics in background music can make it difficult to read because the words you hear don't match the words on screen.
Poor Poe Poe, she's really just put through a spin in this darn story, and I understand being in a situation that is slowly going to crumble apart with a deadline, even if the situation itself is bad.
But like the other comment says, this feels like a sprint through the events rather than a jog, a jog through the story and a jog through what's going through Poe Poe's mind.
In short, 8/10, there's something here but it needed some more of the story to make it shine
Note: You haven't marked the PC and Mac downloads for each platform so the Itch app refuses to download the game, downloading through the browser works fine
¡Ay, pobre Poe Poe! She really can't catch a break, can she? Escaping one bad situation just to land in another—even if it was more enjoyable than the first, in a way, heh—only to have THAT fall apart, too...
And considering everything that happens to her, I personally would've loved for the narrative to linger on these moments a little longer, rather than moving so quickly from moment to moment as it does~ That is, with the rollercoaster of huge life changes and intimate encounters that unfold in the story, Poe Poe and Heather alike have a lot on their plates to discuss and digest, even on a day-to-day level, no? I bet there'd be a plethora of fun scenes that'd result if the narrative handled their thorny emotional entanglements with more of a slow burn approach, examining their respective messy, conflicting desires in detail and letting the poor girls simmer in them at length~
In any case, nice work on your VN; I hope to see more from you in the future!
